Mornese

Mornese, land filled with sunshine
Weathered by the strong wind
Where Heaven's dew drop was hard work
Yet love's toil

Where sweetest silence was louder than thunder
and even the violets sang of
glowing miracles (2)
Thank you, O Father for you raise the humble

Do you happen to remember the Marathi song we had to sing before we started Shanta bai's class? Something along the lines of "Namo deva....."Would love to read that again:-) It also bought back memories of the "clap" before and after P.E class
